03 Apr REVIEW: Nailcote Hall “When Five Stars Just Aren’t Enough”
by Matt Martino
Could The Only Way Be Nailcote Hall?
A recent trip to the midlands wouldn’t have proved as mesmerising had I not booked a stay at Nailcote Hall.
Set in a very opulent and ritzy neighbourhood with Solihull and Coventry both being of close proximity this provides the idealistic get away where you can just have a much needed rest or get away from the real world for a minute, with a 15 acre backyard and a Par 3 golf course on site the possibilities are endless.
Upon my arrival I was greeted by an eagerly energetic young man by the name of Adam who ensured my check in was without fault.
Dinner in the Oak Room Restaurant was a must where the menu boasts of Slow cooked belly of pork and Smoked Haddock croquettes for starters with a main course variety of Steak Diane which you can have flambéed at your table or Corn-Fed chicken breast !
Post dinner I had the option of either a walk through the historic grounds or a lovely time in the jacuzzi, I treated myself to both options before retiring to bed in the most opulent of rooms the Midlands as a whole has to offer.
The Verdict
5 out of 5
