15 Feb REVIEW: Dangerous Game dir by Richard Colton
By Simon Phetter
CCB Star Calum Best, TOWIE’s Ricky Rayment and Lucy Pinder are all starring in one film, NO you’re not dreaming! This has all been made possible by prolific film producer Amar Adatia and the team at Best Wishes Productions.
Dangerous Game is the first in a trilogy of movies based on the dangerous lives when footballers retire, with a world premiere scheduled for June 2017 I was delighted to get my hands on a screener of the forthcoming film.
The film starts off by telling the story of Chris Rose a pro footballer from Essex played by 35-year-old Calum Best who spots his enticing American accent, He ends up getting into trouble with the Russian mafia and is forced to throw games and rob some shoe shops.
Chris’ intimate relationship with Ashely played in the film by Jess Impiazzi is guaranteed to leave you hot under the collar while the drama and edge on seat action of the Russian Mafia’s involvement keeps it riveting to the viewer’s eyes.
The Verdict : 4/5
“A flick full of action and drama, both on and off the pitch”
In cinemas this June 2017. For updates on the film keep an eye on https://twitter.com/dangerousgame17
