REVEALED: ESSEX IS THE PLACE TO LIVE IF YOU WANT TO WIN ON LOVE ISLAND

18 Jun REVEALED: ESSEX IS THE PLACE TO LIVE IF YOU WANT TO WIN ON LOVE ISLAND

With Love Island receiving a record number of applications this year, the Love Islander’s favourite Lingerie brand, Boux Avenue has done some research to find out if your postcode can affect your Love Island application. They’ve done some digging and found out which regions have produced the most Love Island contestants to date and you might just be surprised!

Okay, it’s no real surprise that London has produced some of our fave ex-Love Island contestants, with a whopping 23 contestants coming from the capital, including Nas Majeed (Winter Love Island), Shaughna Phillips (Winter), Josh Denzel (Series 4) and Anna Vakilli (Series 5) Despite the highest number of contestants coming from London, there hasn’t been one single (or coupled-up…) Love Island winner from the capital. There’s always series 6?

This is followed by Essex where there have been loads of Love Island contestants, 16 to be exact, including Boux Avenue favourite Zara McDermott. However, unlike London, Essex has produced some winners, including, Kem Cetinay and the ultimate babe, Dani Dyer. Coming in joint third is Manchester and Newcastle, each producing 7 Ex-Love Islanders! Plus, although Manchester hasn’t produced any Love Island winners to date, loads of ex-Love Islanders have relocated to ‘The Capital of the North’ from their hometowns in recent years, including last season’s winners Paige Turley and Finley Tapp.

Below are the top locations to live in if you want a chance in the Villa!

WHICH PART OF THE UK HAS PRODUCED THE MOST LOVE ISLAND CONTESTANTS?

WHICH PART OF THE UK HAS PRODUCED THE MOST LOVE ISLAND WINNERS?

The Love Island winners come away from the show with the love of their lives (hopefully) and £50k to share. It’s a pretty sweet deal.

But which part of the UK has produced the most Love Island winners to date? That would be Essex.

There have been three Love Island winners from Essex, including:

• Kem Cetinay
• Nathan Massey
• Dani Dyer

So, maybe Essex is the place to be if you’re looking to bag that prize money? If you’re thinking of applying for the next series of Love Island, you might just want to check your postcode first…
