18 Nov Red Rose Chain Christmas Show set to wow audiences this festive season
This Christmas Ipswich theatre company Red Rose Chain will enchant and delight audiences with a new adaptation of THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS written and directed by Artistic Director Joanna Carrick.
The show will see the return of Red Rose Chain favourites, Darren Latham, Matt Penson and Rei Mordue, all last seen starring in this summer’s sold-out show Macbeth at Theatre in the Forest.
After 2 years of online performances due to the pandemic, The Avenue Theatre at Gippeswyk Hall is set to be transformed into Toad Hall to make this year the biggest and best Christmas show to date! Audiences can expect more of what they love from a Red Rose Chain show, with brilliant music, plenty of silliness and some festive surprises in this classic tale that is perfect for all the family.
Families can also enjoy a magical garden at Gippeswyk Hall before each performance, with an outdoor bar and storybook trail!
As well as keeping their ticket prices affordable, this year Red Rose Chain have gone one step further and with funding from Arts Council England, they are offering hundreds of free tickets to families struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.
