A local store in Rayleigh have gone above and beyond raising thousands for a hospital unit.
Sainsburys Local Store in Rayleigh, has continued their support for the Stroke Unit at Southend University Hospital for a second year.
Sainsburys Local Store in Rayleigh, Eastwood Road, has continued their support for the Stroke Unit at Southend University Hospital for a second year.
As well as raising over £2,000 in store they recently donated a trolley full of personal radios and fans.
A statement from the store read “We are delighted to be given a chance to donate essential items that the Stroke Unit at Southend Hospital need, especially with the hot weather we have started to experience. It has been great to be able to make patients have a more comfortable stay.”
