20 Mar PR Agency Offers Free Coronavirus Communications for Local Businesses
The Write Impression (TWI), a marketing and PR agency based in the East of England has announced that it will be offering Coronavirus communications support, free of charge to all businesses.
The announcement comes as the UK government steps up measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The public are now being urged to work from home where possible, to avoid pubs, clubs, restaurants and other public venues and to avoid all non-essential travel. Schools are also set to close from Friday 20th March.
Commenting on the agency’s idea to provide this free-of-charge service, TWI’s managing partner Kate Everett, said:
“We have seen first-hand how challenging navigating crisis communications has been for larger businesses, even with the help of a PR agency. We decided to offer all businesses a free resource to help them effectively communicate updates on the Coronavirus pandemic to their staff and customers. We want to help, and it is important at times like this that the business community comes together to support one and other wherever we possibly can.
“Companies of all sizes are facing their own challenges at the moment, so if we can use our expertise and share some of the work that we have already done to ease the pressure on them, then that is what we will do.”
The PR agency is offering downloadable PDFs on its website, with more communications becoming available as and when advice from the government changes.
