06 May Police officers from Southend seize hundreds of plants
Officers from Southend’s Local Policing Team have seized hundreds of plants.
On Sunday, May 6, acting on information from the public, officers executed a warrant at an address in Southend.
The Force Support Unit forced entry into the property, where they found a number of illegal items.
The team searched the address and seized more than 180 cannabis plants. They also found a large bag which contained what is believed to be cannabis and an offensive weapon.
No one was arrested.
