Pitch is back. The alfresco hotspot off Stratford High Street opens again on March 29th, mixing the best of London’s street food scene with a busy new schedule of activities and events.

A perfect escape from Westfield Stratford City, the design-led (and weather-proofed!) space serves up chilled outdoor vibes in a colourful urban setting, five minutes walk from Stratford tube. Lined with street food stalls, VIP booths and a craft-focused bar, the bustling venue will always have something going on, from themed film screenings, evening classes and party nights to weekly Friday networking drinks and Sunday DJ brunches.

Open from Easter weekend right through to Autumn, food will be served up by a trio of popular street food traders: Ticos serves up gourmet hot dogs and slow-cooked beef ribs, KERB favourites The Gyoza Guys bring their famously silky, flavour-packed dumplings to the table, while modern Greek specialists Kalimera offer sunshine and souvlaki. Vegan and vegetarian options are also available, alongside homemade churros and crepes from The Pitch Sweet Shack. And to match, draft beers from Camden Town Brewery are complemented by a great selection of craft cans and bottles (including gluten-free beers), plus a neat range of cider, wine, cocktails, premium spirits and mixers.

Pitch will bring a fresh line-up of events each week. Thursdays will be all about new experiences, with a wide range of fun activities to get stuck into. Fridays combine daytime networking with after-work drinks deals, while Saturdays come in three parts: family-friendly street food lunches, followed a good few hours of lazy afternoon / early evenings of alfresco eating and drinking, ahead of a themed party night or outdoor film screening. Sundays are for brunching, with flowing prosecco and DJs bringing a laidback Ibiza vibe to E15.

As the summer months role in, Pitch is set to utilise its massive 196 inch HD screen creating a highly affordable East London outdoor cinema. One of the only outdoor cinemas in the area, Pitch will release film selections further into the season.

During the World Cup Pitch will operate from Fri-Sun in April, Thu-Sun from May and every in June and July, when tables in front of the giant HD screen will offer welcome refuge from overcrowded central London venues, less than 10 min walk from Stratford tube.

Pitch is a great spot for birthday celebrations, hen/stag dos and office parties. Groups can book tables (in multiples of six) ahead of time for most events and there are five adjacent VIP booths with table service for up to 12 guests. The entire 350-capacity venue can also be hired exclusively.
