21 Dec PERRYWOOD GARDEN CENTRE SPREADS CHRISTMAS CHEER TO ABBERTON RURAL TRAINING
On Wednesday 14th December, Perrywood Garden Centre in Tiptree gifted charity Abberton Rural Training seasonal planted baskets as a small thank you to each of the 20 volunteers who kindly give up their time to support this important charity.
Abberton Rural Training is an educational charity providing practical and skills training alongside therapeutic support and mentoring to the residents of Essex and surrounding areas.
With a passion to giving back to the community, for the last seven years Perrywood have organised a Christmas Cheer campaign to spread a little seasonal joy in the community. Last year they asked their team to nominate and deliver a planter to an individual who, for one reason or another, deserves some Christmas cheer.
Louise Smith, Communications Manager at Perrywood comments:” Our Christmas Cheer campaign is always a fantastic way to end the year. We really admire the hard work the volunteers put into supporting Abberton Rural Training and it’s lovely to be able to gift them all a planter to give them a little something back for their valued time.”
