30 Mar Paul Danan to make stage comeback alongside Adele Silva and Lucy Pinder
Ex-Hollyoaks star Paul Danan to make career comeback in London in Off West End’s, The Hope Theatre in May 2018 after being a contestant in the Celebrity Big Brother House last summer. Danan will co-star with Emmerdale actress Adele Silva, actor-writer Michael Head and film star and model/actress Lucy Pinder.
Paul Danan stars in Worth a Flutter and is expected to sell out the 60 seat Off West End Hope Theatre in his career comeback after appearing in Celebrity Big Brother last Summer.
Paul Danan starred in Hollyoaks as Sol Patrick from 1997 – 2001 before appearing in ITV’s Celebrity Love Island in 2005 for which Danan was awarded a Loaded Laftas Comedy Award for funniest reality TV personality. Danan went on to appear as a contestant in Channel 5’s Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.
After hundreds of thousands of television viewers tuned in to Celebrity Big Brother last summer, now lucky London fans will be able to sit up close and personal with Danan in one of London’s intimate award-winning Off West End venues. The Hope Theatre in Islington won Best Artistic Director Award in The Off West Theatre Awards (The Offies) 2017 and was nominee for Fringe Theatre of the Year at The Stage Awards 2017.
Opposite ‘Dangerous Danan’ is his co-star Adele Silva famous for starring as Kelly Windsor in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale. Silva first played this role from 1993 to 2000 before returning to the soap in 2005. Her plotlines have been amongst the most daring in the soap opera, including a relationship with her stepbrother and running off with one of her school teachers. Silva returned to the soap in 2005.
Silva has also appeared in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks and was celebrated for her performances in one woman show 51 Shades of Maggie as ‘Stunning’ – Review Hub and ‘Adele Silva’s disciplined performance is endlessly energetic and her versatility is amazing’ – GB Reviews
Silva and Danan will be joined by Lucy Pinder and Michael Head.
Lucy Pinder is an internationally renowned film actress and model starring in The Royals, Age Of Kill, and Dangerous Games. Lucy is set to make her stage debut in the capital in Worth A Flutter.
Worth a Flutter is produced by LAPA and Executive Producer Adam Morley and directed by Jonathon Carr. It runs at The Hope Theatre from 1st May to 19th May 2018.
