07 Apr Nursery has a ‘hoppy birthday’ with egg-cited Easter bunnies
Children at Little Adventurers Nursery looked egg-cellent as as they transformed into Easter bunnies to celebrate the nursery’s 7th birthday on Wednesday (6th April 2022).
The day marked a special occasion for all involved, as children, families and staff celebrated the nursery’s seventh year since opening in 2015.
Along with a hand-made cake, music and traditional party games, florist Helen Sheard visited the nursery to help the pre-school children design their very own Easter hats for the occasion.
Nursery Manager, Ginny Andreas said:
“We are delighted to be celebrating our seventh birthday here at Little Adventurers. Not only have the children been looking forward to our special day, they have also been excited to see signs of Spring appearing as they venture into the local environment on their regular outings. Within their Springtime celebrations, the children have designed their very own Easter hats and what better way to show them off, than on our seventh birthday!”
Little Adventurers Nursery believes that childhood should be an exciting adventure – a time for children to discover, explore and investigate the world around them.
As an environmentally friendly nursery, Little Adventurers is always looking for ways to care for the planet in everything they do – including teaching the children about this with their very own green mascot – Daphne the Dolphin.
Children also learn about growing and tending to their own plants and vegetables, even using their home- grown produce for the nursery’s home-cooked nutritious meals.
This Spring, the children have also been looking after their local environment and recently became Litter Heroes as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s Big Bag Challenge.
Little Adventurers Nursery is a family-run, private full day care nursery based in Upminster in Essex and cares for children from 3 months to 5 years of age.
