NORWICH TEAM LEADS PROMOTIONS AT FRP

10 Jan NORWICH TEAM LEADS PROMOTIONS AT FRP

Specialist business advisory firm FRP has added two of its Norwich-based team to its partnership, as the firm’s East Anglian operations lead its latest round of promotions.

Ryan Symonds and James Cooper have been promoted to partner within FRP Corporate Finance, while Alex Hunton (corporate finance) and Rob Whitefoot (forensic services) have been promoted to director. Jude Corbett and Ben Lambert have also both been promoted to assistant manager within FRP’s forensic services team based in Norwich.

The team are among a 33-strong cohort of FRP colleagues promoted across the firm’s national network as it marks a successful first half to its 23/24 financial year.

The cohort includes colleagues from across FRP’s corporate finance, restructuring advisory, financial advisory, debt advisory and forensic services practices, as well as its central services team.

Fifteen colleagues have been promoted within FRP’s restructuring advisory practice, which continues to support distressed businesses across a range of sectors as corporate insolvencies remain high across the UK. In recent months, the team has advised major brands including Clinton’s, online sports retailer Wiggle and restaurant chain Prezzo.

Meanwhile, FRP Corporate Finance has promoted five colleagues as it builds on a successful 2022, where it advised on almost £3bn’s worth of M&A activity.

The promotions represent the latest milestone in FRP’s growth, having added nine new offices – including its first international office in Cyprus – since listing on AIM in 2020 and acquiring a series of restructuring and corporate finance businesses.

Jeremy French, chief operating officer at FRP, said: “It’s extremely rewarding to see so many colleagues progressing their career at FRP – seizing on the opportunities presented by our growth and evolution in recent years. We are entering into a critical 12 months for the UK economy, where clients will be relying on us to provide guidance that will shape their prospects and their direction for the future. It’s a pleasure to know that they will continue to be guided and supported by some of our industry’s most experienced and promising advisers.”
