27 Aug Norfolk dinosaur park helps with new hospice building
EAST Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) has completed a new hospice building, The Nook, thanks to donations and support, including sponsorship from Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, in Lenwade.
The Nook Appeal launched in November 2014 to raise £10m for a new, purpose-built hospice in Framingham Earl and will officially open for care in September.
Adam Goymour, company director at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure said: “We are really pleased to have been able to support EACH this year; this charity is so important to us and one that is close to our hearts.
“The donations have gone towards the new hospice building which will help to support families and care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across the region.”
The park showed support by sponsoring a bubble arch at the Norwich Bubble Rush and sponsored tickets for the Royal Norfolk Show Ball 2019. The team were also joint headline sponsor of EACH’s King’s Lynn Bubble Rush event 2018 as well as the charity’s float at the Lord Mayor’s Procession.
Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure also sponsored EACH in 2018 and has overall contributed £8650 to EACH’s appeal, having signed up The Nook Business Network.
