05 Dec New pub The Navigator lands at London Southend Airport
There’s even more great choice for customers jetting off from London Southend Airport as The Navigator is now open in the Departure Lounge.
The new pub represents a £300k investment from TRG Concessions to develop the former Lakers Bar in a 4 week programme of works to transform the 4,300 sq ft space into a comfortable and contemporary air-conditioned traditional pub that can serve 300 people.
The Navigator has free Wi-Fi and charging connections throughout and will be open daily from 4am until the departure of the final flight.
The menu includes an extensive all day Breakfast offer, from traditional cooked breakfasts to lighter meals such as the Smashed Avocado and classic porridge options. On the Main Menu a wide range is also available; Small Plates including loaded nachos and chicken wings and Navigator Classics such as Hand Battered Cod and an Indonesian inspired Padang Curry.
There’s also a great burger range featuring the menu’s hero; The Navigator Burger, a prime mince beef patty topped with smoked chilli jam, bacon-mayonnaise, back bacon, chorizo, melted Cheddar, tomato and little gem lettuce.
The menu has been carefully considered to ensure there’s something for everyone including a Vegan Beets Burger, a range of pasta and salads bursting with fresh flavours – plus a desserts range to cater for those with a sweet tooth.
