13 Jul New Ilford ibis Styles Hotel now open
A brand-new ibis Styles Hotel in Seven Kings, London has now opened.
Officially opened by The Mayor of Redbridge, Councillor Roy Emmett, the new hotel is located next to Seven Kings tube station and is on the site of the former Joker pub. Comprising 92-bedrooms, the hotel has an on-site restaurant, bar and coffee lounge and was built and is owned by DSJ Homes Limited.
The day-to-day operations and strategic management will be undertaken by Black and White Hospitality.
This venture has created up to 30 full and part time jobs and the hope is it will also act as the cornerstone for further regeneration in the area.
The interior theme of the hotel has been inspired by the idea of “An Oasis in the City” and brings touches of nature with a pallet of greens and autumnal colours.
The bedrooms continue to celebrate nature with parkland greens and a multitude of textures including luxurious fabrics, timbers and geometric leaf carpets, all working together to create a tranquil, relaxed and refreshing bedroom experience.
The lobby area is a welcoming, sun drenched, multi-functional space that will encourage guests and the local community to relax, unwind and pull up a chair in the bar, lounge or coffee areas.
Other accessible London sites include the O2 Arena, ExCel Centre and the London Stadium.
