“We are delighted to welcome Atlasglobal as the latest airline to join us at London Stansted. I am sure this will be a popular route for the Turkish expat community living in north and East London. It will also give both business and leisure passengers from the region access to the airline’s extensive route network from its Istanbul hub, including northern Cyprus, Dubai and Doha, Qatar.”

John Bennett from Colchester Travel, which owns four long-established local travel agency branches throughout Essex, said:

“We are always delighted to welcome any new airline to our local airport, London Stansted. I am sure that our clients will be very happy to fly with Atlasglobal as it opens up lots of interesting connections via Istanbul. Atlasglobal has a great reputation for service and it will be fantastic to have a local option which is not a low-cost carrier.”

The airline is transferring flights to London Stansted from Luton, where it has been operating since 2014. Speaking about the move, Atlasglobal’s Head of Sales and Marketing, Tuna Tunca said:

“It has been a strategic decision to start flying from London Stansted to Istanbul Ataturk and we feel very positive about this move. Atlasglobal is responding to passengers’ demands and transit requirements by continuing to develop our operations and open new routes.”
