New Centre of Learning in Harlow
Adult education learning provider, ACL Essex, will be opening a new learning facility in Harlow, when it moves from its Partridge Road site to a purpose-built setting within the refurbished Harlow Town Library.
The new facilities will offer high-tech classrooms, computer suites, an accessible reception area and a café set within a modern and vibrant interior. On the first floor will be a shared space with Essex County Council Library services where exhibitions, small events and taster activities will be held. The new café, which will be open to learners and library visitors, will be run by ACL Essex staff and Supported Learning students as part of their work experience.
Cllr Tony Ball, ECC Cabinet Member for Education Excellence, Lifelong Learning and Employability said: “The new learning facility will be ideal for adult learners in Harlow. We’re very keen to welcome adult learners in Harlow onto our diverse range of programmes, from fast-track GCSE programmes to digital skill courses, as well as courses that promote wellbeing.”
He added: “The new ACL Essex centre for Harlow also benefits from high-tech classroom facilities, a wonderful library setting and a very central location, making it accessible for all.”
The new centre is expected to open in Summer 2022. To discover more about studying at ACL Essex in Harlow
