19 Jun NAMCO Funscape Romford reveal further details of upcoming amusement attractions
Bandai Namco Amusement Europe Ltd. reveal the design of the new bumper cars coming to NAMCO Funscape Romford. Bumper cars will arrive to the location alongside a wide variety of exciting new improvements in mid-July. The new cars are a modern take on bumper cars, constructed from recyclable materials with a sleek design. In addition, the cars are also significantly more energy efficient than other models of bumper cars. This alongside other initiatives like switching bowling lanes over to Pins on Strings systems, all come together to help Bandai Namco Amusement Europe to work towards a greener future.
Features of the new bumper cars include:
• Constructed from recyclable materials.
• Modern steel frame appearance.
• Reduced power consumption when compared to traditional bumper cars.
The other new additions coming to NAMCO Funscape Romford this summer include a redesigned entrance way with a large exterior screen, a new reception and prize desk, new arcade machines, an updated bar and modernised party room. Please find key dates for the refurbishment below.
Key dates:
• 14th June – Old doors open and ramp back in use. New flooring and seating in place.
• 21st June – New reception opens. Lane Bar reopens.
• 1st July – New arcade machines arrive
• 6th July – Party room opens

NAMCO Funscape Romford currently offers a world of fun, laughter and enjoyment with attractions from tenpin bowling, arcades including shoot ‘em ups, race car simulators, dancing machines, prize cranes, simulators, VR and more. Pool tables, space for parties and celebrations as well as food and drink are available to complete every occasion. Namco Funscape Romford remains operating in reduced hours whilst the refurbishments are made, open from Friday through to Sunday, until late.
