11 Sep MERCURY THEATRE TO HOST BOOK OF CONDOLENCE FOR HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II
Following the sad news of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the evening of Thursday 8 September, Mercury Theatre will be hosting a book of condolence in their Box Office for members of the public who wish to sign it.
Mercury Theatre is one of three designated places in Colchester that will be hosting a book of memoriam on behalf of Colchester Borough Council, alongside Colchester Town Hall and St Peter’s Church.
The book will be available for signing from 9am to 6pm from Friday 9 September until Sunday 18 September. During these hours, parking restrictions outside the theatre will be suspended for those that require closer access to the building.
In accordance with the wishes of the Royal Household, performances of Fame and other activities will continue as planned. If you wish to rearrange your tickets for another performance, please contact the Box Office on 01206 573948.
