The new restaurant launched today, Wednesday 12th November at 11am, with a celebratory ribbon-cutting ceremony led by the Mayor of Basildon, Councillor Allan Davies, who was joined by members of the Bowers and Pitsea Ladies Football Team to mark the occasion.
Excited customers began queuing early ahead of the grand opening, eager to be among the first to experience Wendy’s famous square burgers and Frosty desserts. The opening event ran throughout the morning, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere as guests enjoyed the celebrations and sampled Wendy’s signature menu items.
To mark the occasion, the first 50 customers through the doors received a free Wendy’s Cheeseburger, while one lucky diner will also take home the exclusive Red Ribbon Card, entitling them to a free combo meal every week for an entire year at the Festival Leisure Park restaurant.
