25 Apr Maldon rally driver Nabila Tejpar faces her hugest challenge yet
Maldon rally driver Nabila Tejpar will take on one of the most competitive single-make rally series in Europe in 2018 after securing a deal to contest the Iberican Peugeot Sport Cup and selected FIA World Rally Championship outings at the wheel of her Peugeot 208 R2.
The reigning Prestone MSA British Ladies Rally Champion made the upgrade to the latest specification 208 R2 this season and after originally planning to contest the series once again in 2018, has been offered the opportunity to head into Europe to tackle events in Spain and Portugal.
The 24 year old from Essex has been rallying since her 21st birthday and despite a relatively short competitive career, has secured the BRC Ladies title and narrowly missed out on a Cadet Cup podium during her 2017 campaign.
The progression into a new car for the season was originally destined to return to the domestic championship but when an opportunity was offered to her by the PT Racing Team to contest the Peugeot Rally Cup Iberica, she would have to move fast to secure a slot in the popular, six-round series.
