Lolly, the hospitality software house, is proud to announce a 12-month charity partnership with Kids Inspire, an Essex-based charity that supports children, young people and their families affected by trauma or mental-health difficulties.
This collaboration will focus on providing vital funding and hands-on support, as well as raising awareness of the growing mental-health challenges facing children and families across Essex and Suffolk. Lolly’s support will include staff volunteering, internal fundraising and as part of this year’s Christmas Appeal, members of the Lolly team visited Kids Inspire’s head office to volunteer their time, helping wrap gifts destined for children and their families.
Kids Inspire offers free, trauma-informed therapy and mentoring to families who cannot afford private mental-health support. Using a range of creative therapies, including art, drama, play and EMDR, its therapists help children process difficult experiences in a safe and nurturing way. The charity also provides guidance and training for parents and carers, ensuring support continues at home.
Rachael Bassett, Fundraising Manager at Kids Inspire, said: “Since 2007, Kids Inspire has provided specialist trauma-informed support to children, young people and their families across Essex. The need for our services is growing faster than ever, with more children waiting for help than we can currently reach. Support from Lolly as one of our charity partners is vital, their financial backing will help fund more therapy sessions, expand our programmes, and ensure every child has the chance to heal, to trust, and simply to be a child again.”
Peter Moore, CEO at Lolly, added: “We are honoured to partner with Kids Inspire, a charity doing incredible work to improve the mental wellbeing of young people in our community. Our team is excited to take part in the Christmas Appeal and other fundraising and volunteering activities throughout the year. Together, we hope to raise both awareness and essential funds for this invaluable cause.”
