14 Jul Local test and trace service launches
Essex County Council and Southend-on-Sea Borough Council have launched a local contact tracing service which works alongside NHS test and trace.
The service will be responsible for identifying, containing and reducing the spread of COVID-19 at a local level. This includes supporting contact tracing for schools, care homes, work places and vulnerable groups.
Please remember, genuine texts, calls or emails from the local contact tracing service won’t ask you for any personal details upfront. The only website the service will ask you to visit is the contact tracing website.
