As the time of year for group dining descends, Grand Trunk Road are offering the ultimate in luxuriant holiday fare, to be enjoyed with expertly-prepared drinks in their warm and elegant atmosphere.
Fresh from celebrating their second year in operation, along with winning Best Restaurant at the Asian Curry Awards 2018, Grand Trunk Road are closing 2018 with one of their most intricate and evocative offerings to date.
With Head Chef Dayashankar Sharma at the helm, the restaurant’s unparalleled combination of ancient recipes and traditional cooking methods is gracing Party Season with a singular take on Christmas dining and sumptuous New Year celebration dishes.
December will see their Christmas menu include Boneless lamb and baby turnips cooked in a smooth sauce, Fish chunks with glazed peppers and red onion in a sweet, sour and spice coating, Spinach dumplings stuffed with paneer and brown onion in an aromatic sauce and a Festive chocolate brick with homemade ice cream.

Their New Year celebrations will see them offer an exquisite tasting menu, with a host of dishes including Tiger prawns with turmeric and ginger in a coconut milk sauce, Fresh crunchy okra with pickling spices and Mango crème brulé with ajwain biscuits; the perfect way to welcome 2019, deliciously. Guests can also enjoy the mysterious works by Ben’s Magic, who will entertain with confounding illusions and entertainment.
