08 May Local children’s hospice launches podcasts for families
Haven House Children’s Hospice has become one of the first children’s hospices in the country to launch a regular series of podcasts for families and staff.
The podcasts aim to showcase the work of the hospice which is celebrating its 15th birthday this year and raise awareness of its services.
Isabella Field from Woodford Green who has helped raise more than £111,000 for Haven House after losing her sister, Molly, to cancer in 2010 was one of the first to be featured.
In her podcast Isabella talks about what it’s like to lose a sibling and the support she has received from Buddies, Haven House’s sibling group.
