02 Mar Local charity to take part in first ever Bubble Rush at Olympic Park
Haven House Children’s Hospice has teamed up with three other hospices for the first ever East London Bubble Rush at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday 21 May.
The Bubble Rush is a brand new challenge event of 5k runs that have been created for participants to enjoy a fun-filled soak with friends, families, groups and colleagues.
There will be four colour bubble stations along the way with entertainment, merchandise stalls and bubble-themed refreshments on sale.
All funds raised from the event will be divided equally between Haven House Children’s Hospice, Saint Francis Hospice, Richard House Children’s Hospice and St Joseph’s Hospice.
Mike Palfreman, Chief Executive of Haven House, said: “We are delighted to be working in partnership with three other hospices to host our first ever Bubble Rush.
“This is an exciting new challenge event at the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the course is family friendly, so you can run, jog, walk or toddle through the foam.
“Don’t worry if you are not a runner because the course is not timed and everyone will get a medal at the end.
