01 Aug Local Charity goes to the movies with outdoors film festival
Haven House Children’s Hospice is set to bring the excitement of Hollywood to its beautiful grounds in September with a brand new outdoor film festival.
Across a whole weekend, Haven House will show three all-time favourite films on separate nights on a big screen with cinema-goers able to enjoy free popcorn and other film-related activities.
On Friday 15 September, children and their parents will be able to re-live the classic adventures of Buzz Lightyear and Woody with a special screening of Toy Story.
Families will be able to enjoy pre-film entertainment from 6pm and a tasty BBQ ahead of the screening at 7.30pm.
On Saturday 16 September, fans of Patrick Swayze can have the ultimate girls’ night out with the romantic classic Dirty Dancing. There will be the opportunity to purchase a glass of fizz and light refreshments from 6.30pm ahead of the screening at 7.30pm.
On Sunday 17 September, musical fans will be encouraged to don their Pink Lady and T Bird jackets with a screening of Grease at 7.30pm. Guests will be able to enjoy refreshments from a Grease-themed pop-up bar ahead of the screening.
