An Essex care provider has achieved industry recognition at this year’s Social Care Leadership awards.
ECL’s (Essex Cares Ltd) Head of Quality and Governance, Fran Driver has been awarded the 2022 Social Care Leadership, ‘Quality Assurance Leader’ Award.
A passionate guardian of ECL’s quality and governance, Fran has been instrumental in establishing ECL’s Quality and Governance Assurance Assessment processes designed to stringently monitor quality standards across all service areas.
This approach has played a key role in ECL’s regulated care services achieving Outstanding and Good CQC outcomes.
This win also recognises Fran’s prominent role in keeping staff and customers safe during the coronavirus pandemic, ensuring COVID-19 safety protocols were rigorously upheld across all services.
ECL Chief Executive, Keir Lynch said: “Fran is a deserving winner of the Quality Assurance Leader award. In her 26 years working in Quality and Governance, Fran has helped shape a culture of quality, playing a key role in the development of our high company standards with an emphasis on excellence and integrity. Well respected nationally, she works closely with organisations such as the National Care Forum in policy development and operational practice.
“We were delighted to have two ECL managers as finalists at this year’s awards, Inclusive Employment Business Manager, Sue Wray in the Executive Learning Disabilities and Autism Leader category, and Fran in the Quality Assurance Leader category. Fran was presented with her award by Former BBC Breakfast Presenter, Louise Minchin at a ceremony and gala dinner on the 19th of October at the London Marriot Hotel, Grosvenor Square.
Organised by Care Talk magazine, the annual Social Care Leadership Awards recognise excellence across all areas of social care leadership.
