02 Feb Local Cancer Charity Opens New Hub In Great Baddow

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity has this week announced that it is working in partnership with the Spire Specialist Care Centre in Great Baddow, Essex, to offer complementary therapies, including reflexology and aromatherapy, to those affected by cancer.

The new Helen Rollason Cancer Charity Support Hub is being launched tomorrow, Friday 3 February and will run every Friday from 10am to 5pm.

The Spire Specialist Care Centre in Great Baddow is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art hospital, The centre offers both radiotherapy and chemotherapy on site.

 

Pat Hume, Support Centre Development Manager for HRCC, says: “As a charity we’re delighted to be in a position to extend our services to more people, and the fantastic facilities at Spire will enable clients and patients to enjoy their treatments in a comfortable and relaxing environment. The demand for appointments at our three existing centres in Chelmsford, Sawbridgeworth and London is ever-increasing, so it’s great that our new hub will provide six additional sessions per week.”
The Helen Rollason Cancer Charity is dedicated to championing quality of life for everyone living with or affected by Cancer through the provision of free access support centres, complementary therapies, information and advice and supporting clinical trials.
