21 May LLOYDS BANK APPOINTS NEW REGIONAL DIRECTOR IN EAST OF ENGLAND
Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has appointed a new regional director in the East of England to support local businesses across the region.
David Atkinson brings over 30 years’ experience in the banking industry, having most recently held the post of UK head of manufacturing for SME and mid-corporate businesses.
In his new role, he will work with 60 relationship managers and directors across the East of England to support businesses in a range of sectors, while continuing to oversee the delivery of specialist manufacturing support to commercial clients across the UK.
For SME businesses with an annual turnover of up to £25 million, this will include providing tailored funding to support growth plans as part of Lloyds Banking Group’s commitment to lend £18 billion to UK businesses this year.
David said: “I am looking forward to working with a very experienced and talented team of locally based managers to help nurture, support and stand by the side of businesses across the East of England.
“The real goal for myself and the team is to give businesses across the region the opportunity to invest in their growth plans – whether that is acquiring more space, expanding property investment or development portfolios, or looking to invest into new plant and machinery. We can help by providing the right funding.
“My priority is to support companies in the East of England to navigate the weeks, months and years ahead, by working with the team to provide sound guidance to businesses across all sectors.”
