Welsh singer/songwriter Liss Jones a born performer grew into the public eye after appearing on The Voice. Liss won her first singing competition at the age of two and has also performed at the London Palladium. I pulled her in for a chat to find out how its all going
Q.Tell our readers who is Liss Jones ?
I’m a singer songwriter from a small town in south wales, I have been on the stage from a very young age and recently reached the final 8 in Rita Ora’s Team on the TV show the voice UK.
Q. How was the experience being on The Voice ?
The experience on the voice was amazing, before appearing on the show i had a few problems with my voice and had lost a lot of confidence so working with Rita and the show it made me believe in myself again.
Q. In your opinion whats stopping a lot of young talent in the music industry from making the big time?
I think young talent is coming through a lot more but the music industry is so tough that I think a lot of people give up or lose faith in it all.
Q. Is there a particular story in most of your music ? Your song titles such as Dancing On My Own and You Make Me are very directed at something, what is that ?
I write from my heart and my own experiences and try to connect with people through my music.
Q. Whats the master plan for 2017?
2017 is really exciting for me, I am going abroad to perform in April and also writing for my album as well as festivals in the summer so a lot of live gigs too đŸ™‚
