16 Apr Lisa Stansfield announces 2018 album release and Southend gig
Lisa Stansfield has announced that she will be “swapping the studio for a tour bus” to embark on a European tour in spring 2018 including 12 UK dates, as part of the tour she will perform at Southend’s Pavilion Theatre on the 20th of April, Supporting her on tour is Israeli-born, London-based singer-songwriter, Irit.
In a video posted online Lisa revealed “as you can see we’ve been busy in the studio and we are now putting all the final finishing touches to the album. It sounds great. I just hope you think the same, I hope you like it as much as we do. It’s coming out in the spring and we’ve decided to call it Deeper. So keep an eye out…I’m just excited…I think it is going to be a great ride. I’m looking forward to it.”
The tour coincides with the release of her 2018 album ‘Deeper’, released on April 6th 2018.
Irit, an established singer, songwriter and entertainer made her UK live debut impressing audiences as support for Caro Emerald last year, followed by a successful run of headline shows this February. Commenting on this forthcoming tour, Irit says she is “very excited to tour with Lisa Stansfield in the UK. She has been such an influence on British music and is an artist I respect very much. I can’t wait for this amazing adventure and to perform tracks from my new album around the country.”
