17 Feb LGBTQ+ Homeless charity boosted by Maximus Foundation UK grant donation
Maximus Foundation UK has awarded a grant of £2,500 to Albert Kennedy Trust to fund emergency support packages for young people.
The charity supports young people in the UK who are LGBTQ+ and are homeless or living in a hostile environment, providing emergency accommodation, crisis support and mentoring services.
The donation forms a part of the Foundation’s latest round of dedicated fundraising to help local charities nationwide. The grant was awarded via a virtual cheque presentation by a Maximus Foundation trustee. In 2021, Maximus Foundation UK awarded grant beneficiaries totalling £95,000.
