28 Apr LET CREATIVITY TAKE REIGN AS HOLLYWOOD BOWL ROLLS-OUT NATIONWIDE ‘KING PIN’ COMPETITION
Hollywood Bowl is launching a nationwide design competition for one lucky kid to be crowned the ‘King Pin’ in celebration of the official Coronation of King Charles III.
The competition will let creativity reign as children across the UK will be invited to bowl over judges by designing a unique royal-themed ten-pin in honour of His Majesty.
Running from Friday 28th April 2023, the winning artist will see their majestic design transformed into a life-size replica ten-pin and take pride of place in the winner’s local centre. The winner will also win an annual family bowling pass, and two runners up will win a free family day pass.
The competition is open to all children aged 6 to 12 years old and requires entrants to submit designs by taking their artwork into their local Hollywood Bowl centre or simply tagging Hollywood Bowl’s social channels into a post which includes an image of their ‘King Pin’ design.
Darryl Lewis, Chief Operating Officer at Hollywood Bowl Group, said: “We’re so thrilled to be launching this exciting competition that invites our young bowling fans to celebrate the Coronation in a unique way and have creative fun.
“This is an opportunity to have your very own royally themed ten pin created and displayed at your local Hollywood Bowl centre, as an emblem that honours the King’s Coronation. We can’t wait to be bowled over by all the kid’s strike-ing designs!”
A ‘King Pin’ design template will be available to download from Hollywood Bowl’s official website for parents to print off at home and submit to enter the competition either in person or online: www.hollywoodbowl.co.uk/king-pin
