13 Apr Lee Valley Park Farms to host new Super Hero and Princess event
Capes, crowns and carriages at the ready! Lee Valley Park Farms invites courageous crusaders and petite princesses to don their favourite costumes and attend its new Super Hero and Princess Weekend event from Saturday 5 – Monday 7 May 2018 to celebrate all things magical – both in the real and fictional world.
The three day, Bank Holiday weekender will feature specially themed shows to reveal some of the natural superpowers possessed by the farm’s favourite animals and how these are used in the wild. Meerkats for example have developed immunity to the venom of scorpions, making them resistant to stings and surprisingly tough – just like the bravest superheroes.
In addition to attending interactive art and craft workshops, participants will be able to get their face painted by a skilled make-up artist and take part in a heroic activity quest around the farm. The event will also feature a Dance Off each day – a chance for kids (and adults) to hit the dancefloor and party.
The farmyard fun doesn’t stop there: Boys and girls that visit the farms in their finest superhero or princess costume during the event will be rewarded with a one-off ticket to gain free entry to Lee Valley Park Farms on their next trip.
