Las Iguanas in Lakeside is celebrating in style as they show off their recent makeover. The restaurant has been transformed with a larger upstairs bar, colourful wall graphics inspired by the team’s travels in Brazil, Argentina and their most recent trip to Mexico, a plant wall with flashes of neon and festoon lighting.
The menu lists the best of Latin American food cooked from scratch by the team of skilled chefs, using carefully selected produce so you feel good about what you are eating. New dishes include Peruvian style Crispy Cauliflower Bites – spicy, crispy coated cauliflower with Amarillo aioli. For the main event, try the classic North Brazilian Xinxim curry, chicken and crayfish in a creamy lime and peanut sauce served with spring onion rice, coconut farofa and sweet plantain. For those who always save room for dessert, treat yourself to the delicious Vegan Chocolate Coconut Tart dusted with cocoa and served with a scoop of our dairy-free coconut ice cream. Las Iguanas want everybody to have the opportunity to try new and exciting flavours and work hard to ensure the menu is fully inclusive with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free menus.
In Lakeside, Happy hour has become Happy Days in the bar with all premium spirit cocktails available 2 for 1 all day every day – an everyday celebration! Sip on sophisticated classics with a twist such as the Porn Star Martini, made with Sailor Jerry’s Rum, apricot, Funkin passion fruit, vanilla, pineapple and served with a shot of cava. Or try one of the incredibly insta-worthy sharers like the Zombie Skull.
