Kelvedon Hatch Community Primary School Choir brought festive cheer to the heart of London when they performed at the iconic Hamleys Christmas Windows Unveiling and VIP Party on Thursday 5th November on Regent Street.
The talented children sang for 20 minutes of beautifully festive songs, spreading joy to members of the public and VIP guests alike. Led by Mrs Whannel and Mrs Connor from the school, the choir looked the part in white festive attire, perfectly complementing the Christmas theme as they performed on the red carpet. The performance was made even more magical by the presence of Elves and Santa himself, creating a truly memorable festive moment for all.
Guests at the VIP party included familiar faces such as Vanessa Feltz, Juliet Mayhew, Rachel Riley, and Strictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova, who all enjoyed the choir’s enchanting performance.
Mrs Whannel, Choir Director, said:
“It was such an exciting and enormous honour for our choir to be asked to perform at Hamleys’ Christmas Windows unveiling. The children had the most magical time performing alongside Santa and the elves, and this is an experience they will never forget. Their smiles and enthusiasm made every moment truly special.”
