Jobs set to be created as firm moves into Colchester

21 Jul Jobs set to be created as firm moves into Colchester

A community-focused firm plans to create jobs by setting up a new branch in Colchester later this summer.

Specialising in new build mortgage services, Evolve Financial Solutions currently runs its nationwide operation from its Ipswich offices.

Delighted Evolve director Jason Blunden said: “As we planned our return to work, opening an office in Colchester was the natural next step.

“We work with a lot of developers across Essex and into London and quite a few of our staff travel to our Ipswich offices every day from their homes in Colchester. This was a great way to reduce their travel time and carbon footprint as well as accommodate our growing team.

“As well as our existing team we are also proposing to add new staff members, creating jobs in the town.”

Jason continued: “We are really excited about the possibilities for establishing ourselves further in Essex and contributing to Colchester and its economy.”

It isn’t just its own team that Evolve will be supporting. Jason and fellow director Paul Caulfield have further pledged their allegiance to the town by signing as kit sponsor for newly-relaunched Old Saints United Football Club.

Following a change of chairman earlier this year Old Saints underwent a complete overhaul to become a club with a clear vision for the future.

As well as sponsorship from Evolve, the club has appointed new officials, received FA affiliation, joined the Colchester and District Sunday League and organised 10 friendlies over the coming weeks.

Organiser Matt Scott said: “We are very grateful to Evolve for their part in the club’s relaunch. It’s great that the company want to be part of the town even before their doors are open!”

The new Evolve office is scheduled to open on De Grey Road in August and the company hopes to accommodate a number of new staff.

Jason added: “We are currently recruiting for new members to join us in our Colchester office. We have great aspirations for our future in the town.”
