09 Mar JLS ANNOUNCE RESCHEDULED TOUR DATES AND NEW RECORD DEAL
Multi BRIT and MOBO Award winning boy band JLS today announce the full list of rescheduled shows for their eagerly awaited Beat Again UK and Ireland tour in line with the latest government guidelines. The revised tour dates are also released alongside news that JB, Aston, Marvin and Oritsé will also return with new music later this year having signed a deal with BMG Records.
Both the tour and record deal mark a new era for JLS as 2021 will see them embark on both a 28 date run as well as returning with their first new music in 8 years, speaking of their new record deal the band said “After 8 years it feels great to sign a new record deal with BMG. For us, music is the core of everything we do and we are so excited to bring new music to the world again.” As part of their new record deal, JLS will work to modernize their synonymous R&B pop sound leaning on new musical influences whilst ensuring that the essence and DNA of their music and style remains present.
Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak and the government measures implemented to limit its spread, the JLS June/July 2021 shows have been postponed. The rearranged dates will instead take place in October/November 2021. Customers are advised to keep hold of their tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates. Please see artist website and social media for further statement. The new tour dates will see JLS kickstart the Beat Again tour on Wednesday 20th October at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro before closing in Birmingham’s Resorts World Arena on Saturday 27th November.
The last date in the tour will encompass both an evening show as well as a free NHS matinee performance that has been arranged for all NHS frontline staff and primary care workers as a personal thanks from the band to the national health service for their admirable and continued efforts during COVID-19 pandemic.
The Beat Again tour is an opportunity for JLS fans across the UK and Ireland to come together to enjoy the instantly recognisable pop hits which soundtracked the British charts for seven years running as well as a chance to experience some of their new music live and in an arena setting.
