Introducing the ‘Tangy Cheese Emoji Choc Ice’

Doritos Loaded Week London – the nine-day flavour fest which is taking over the capital between 23rd – 31st August – is announcing a guest appearance from social sensation, Chin Chin, with its exclusive dish – the ‘Tangy Cheese Emoji Choc Ice.’

For one day only, on Wednesday 27th August, the ‘best ice cream parlour in England’ will be serving up its specially-crafted, original dish, which has been inspired by Doritos’ iconic flavours. The ‘Tangy Cheese Emoji Choc Ice’ features tangy cheese ice cream with a Cool Original butter crumb enveloped in a yellow chocolate shell and is served with a jalapeño hot sauce in a bag of Doritos (imagine a cheesecake-inspired choc ice that tastes like your favourite Doritos).

When the doors to Chin Chin’s Soho store open at 1pm, the first 200 customers who bring their own bag of Doritos – any size, any flavour – can grab their serve for free, before others can purchase theirs for £5.

The limited-edition choc ice is just one of many unique taste sensations that is being created during Loaded Week London, which sees over 100 street food spots loading up bags of Doritos with tasty toppings, fueling the viral and growing BYOB (bring your own bag) of Doritos foodie trend.

It comes as research from Doritos finds that almost half (49 per cent) of Brits want to be more adventurous with their food choices but fall back on their favourites. Meanwhile, 14 per cent of people get a kick out of trying new food trends and the same proportion go out of their way to try new and unexpected flavour combinations.

Lynn Grant Senior Marketing Manager at Doritos says: “We can’t wait for people to taste Chin Chin’s Doritos Loaded Week creation. The ‘Tangy Cheese Emoji Choc Ice’ is a bold fusion of sweet and savoury, smooth and crunchy – all of which collide in the ultimate snack sensation. We’ve consistently championed and introduced new and unexpected flavours from the fiery kick of Chilli Heatwave to the zesty punch of Lime. Now these iconic flavours are inspiring a new snack hack.

“Born from the bold creativity of snack lovers and fuelled by viral TikTok hacks, the BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) trend has taken off on socials, with Doritos at the heart of the flavour revolution to chase bold, unexpected flavours in a way that’s fun and accessible. We’re proud to see our Loaded Week partner food spots embracing that spirit and delivering exciting, flavour-packed creations that encourage people to explore, experiment and snack differently.”
