31 May Inside the star studded 9th Rob Knox Film Festival

Eastenders’ Tilly Keeper and Zack Morris, The Bill’s Graham Cole, and producer Jonathan Sothcott, are amongst the celebrities presenting awards to those involved in the production of the 9 films being screened at the Rob Knox Film Festival 2017 on Wednesday June 7th at Cineworld Bexleyheath.
They are joined by directors Chris Bell and Gareth Fient, Hollywood screenwriter Ben Trebilcook, talent agent Sam Brown.
The festival held annually for the last 9 years in memory of the actor who played Marcus Belby in Harry Pottter and the Half-Blood Prince will again screen some of the best independent films made locally alongside those made elsewhere in the world.
But its not just films and awards.
RYT will be performing “Hear Me” a song written by Rob’s father Colin Knox. The song has gone Viral since being released on the aniversery of Rob’s murder.
The Rob Knox Film Festival has acted as a launch pad for many successful filmmakers:
Stephen Fingleton whos first feature The Survivalist earned him a BAFTA nomination and a host of other awards. Louise Salter, who has risen from comperring at the festival to assistant producer on “The Habit of Beauty”, and producing How to be Human.
This years festival will be compered by Jamie Knox who recently appeared on BBC’s Eastenders and in E4”s Stageschool
