04 May Inside Romford’s authentic dining spot
Caraway Lounge whose Ilford branch celebrates 10years this year opened a branch in Romford last year, the Romford branch is now proving to be a real hit amongst the locals and a community that loves authentic dining in Romford.
Lunch which is served between 12-3pm on weekdays offers traditional Chicken Tikka whilst house special dish Punjabi Quesadillas Mexican Way has proved a hit as it boasts of pan fried layered bread with mixed peppers in melting cheese with tomato salsa and sour cream.
Chef & Owner Ramesh Jain told us “People come here and they are excited about how authentic our dishes are, we are making everything here from scratch and all of our food is very healthy and has a home cooked feel to it”The restaurant which has now attracted diners from as far as Southend, Brentwood and even Kent is looking to grow its offering as they plan an outside BBQ area for the summer.
Jain added “I mostly know how to cook, it was a challenge to get to grips with all the business operations but I’m happy with the design of the building and what we have done with the site. We are constantly updating our menu every few months to ensure we meet our customers needs”.
