20 Apr Indie rock-pop ‘Coretheband’ are coming to Essex in June
Indie rock-pop ‘Coretheband’ are supporting ‘Arctic Monkeys’ in July and they are coming to Essex!
Headed up by charismatic front man Jacob Gale, Coretheband is a five-piece indie/rock band that brings across genre of Coldplay’s pop rock and Fall Out Boy’s pop punk. With International awards and international TV appearances under their belt, they are bringing their grooves to the UK and the rest of the world.
Though they hail from the island of Crete, the band’s roots reach much further – to the USA, Poland, South Africa and beyond – and their sound owes more to Green Day and Nirvana than it does Zorba the Greek.
Since CORETHEBAND was formed by vocalist Jacob Gale in 2012, along with Lefteris guitarist, bass player Sifis (affectionately called God) Artemis on keys and Maxi on drums, they have built a strong following throughout Greece and abroad. Their first EP ‘40% Vol’ was released December 2015 with their latest EP ‘The Waiting Game’ hitting iTunes April earlier this year.
The boys spent time in Berlin at the end of their European Tour with gigs in Xanthi, Belgrade, Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna, reaching Dusseldorf where for two weeks they recorded their eagerly anticipated first full album!
