14 Mar Indie rock group Eden Royals return with EP
With over a year between releases, indie rock quartet Eden Royals return with their highly anticipated EP ‘Time Won’t Wait’, after touring America with platinum selling band Third Eye Blind. Exploring day to day problems of a “getting by lifestyle”, ‘Time Won’t Wait’ speaks out to everyone.
The Essex band have shared a stage with the likes of Peace, Bastille and King Krule when performing at Liverpool Sound City Festival in 2015, where they were voted Daily Mirror’s top bands.
Eden Royals, made up of Lloyd Buck, John Ryder, Kenny Cole and Sean Quigley, got their lucky break when Kenny answered the door to his neighbour of 16 years who in fact owns Cutmore Records. After hearing their demos Eden Royals were signed and have not stopped since.
Before forming Eden Royals the Essex musicians had a range of musical experience, with frontman Lloyd featuring in Paul McCartney and Pete Doherty’s music videos and bassist John performing in The Beatles tribute band The Day Trippers.
Now the quartet have come together and have received support from the likes of BBC Introducing Essex and This Morning. ‘Time Won’t Wait’ was released on the 10th of March alongside the homemade music video, showing Eden Royals touring America.
