23 Aug ICONIC CANADIAN RESTAURANT TIM HORTONS ANNOUNCES TWO NEW VENUES IN ESSEX
Iconic Canadian restaurant brand, Tim Hortons® is making a name for itself in Essex, announcing the arrival of not one, but two new drive-thru restaurants this winter. The brand famed for its signature coffee and delicious donuts will open in Thurrock, Essex, with a venue in Braintree hot on its heels – taking the total number of sites within the county to three following the successful launch of Harlow in May.
Located at Lakeside Retail Park and on the outskirts of the M25, the new venue in Thurrock will offer dine-in seating for up to 108 guests, an outside area for up to 16 people. The new site in Braintree will be located at Galleys Corner – spanning over 3,515 sq ft – and will offer dine-in seating for up to 104 guests.
Both sites will offer drive-thru services for those on-the-go, as well as delivery options that will be made available to those in the local area following each opening.
The new restaurants will create over 100 jobs for the local Essex community, 50 at both Thurrock and Braintree respectively. Each site will offer a combination of full-time and part-time roles, with impressive progression and training opportunities.
The two new launches follow a record-breaking opening week for the brand’s new restaurant in Harlow and forms part of its plan to create over 2,000 jobs across the country, bringing Tim Hortons restaurants to every major town and city by 2022.
Customers can expect Canada’s favourite coffee*, freshly baked donuts and Timbits® around the clock, as well as delicious breakfast, lunch and evening meal options, including hot sandwiches and wraps.
