20 Mar I dough not believe it! Crosstown is 10 and Sea Salt Caramel & Banana is back to celebrate
This year marks Crosstown’s 10th birthday and throughout the year they’ll be celebrating a whole 10 years of serving up fresh sourdough doughnuts, kicking off with news that’s set to make fans go bananas.
In January, they invited customers to have their say in which iconic Crosstown flavour should return to the menu as part of their ‘Decade of Dough’ celebrations. After an overwhelming response, fan favourite Sea Salt Caramel & Banana Cream came out triumphant, with the popular flavour now back on the menu.
Crosstown first opened on Leather Lane market back in May 2014 and throughout 2024 will have a host of events planned to celebrate their 10th birthday, from new flavours, in-store events, collaborations, giveaways and more.
The Sea Salt Caramel & Banana Cream doughnut is a winning combination of sweet, silky, fresh banana custard filling, encased in Crosstown’s light and fluffy chocolate sourdough, topped off with a generous swirl of sea salt caramel and a sprinkling of homemade chocolate soil.
Available to purchase individually (£5.75) in Crosstown London and Bath, Cambridge, Bristol and Oxford regional stores. Also available in the following boxes for delivery across Greater London, Bath, Cambridge, Bristol and Oxford:

Crosstown CEO, Howard Ebison, says: “We’ve enjoyed a whole decade of serving up fresh sourdough doughnuts and what a 10 years it’s been! As we reflect on those 10 years, some of our standout moments include launching a range of award-winning vegan doughnuts, collaborating with some of the very best in our industry, navigating a pandemic, introducing small-batch ice cream to the line-up, expanding into online gifting and nationwide delivery and of course, not forgetting developing hundreds of new doughnut recipes.
“From just one pop up on London’s Leather Lane in 2014, we’ve opened 23 locations across the capital, plus opened five regional locations and earlier this month attended our first international festival.
“To mark this milestone, we’re celebrating throughout the year, so brace yourselves for a a packed calendar of returning Crosstown classics, sweet collaborations, in-store events and much more!”
