Barratt and David Wilson Homes has provided an insight into how it has ensured its Languard View development in Dovercourt supports the surrounding environment.

Located on Low Road, the development is being constructed with an aim to introduce modern living to the community but also to preserve the local ecosystem.
A major part of Barratt and David Wilson Homes eco-friendly vision for Languard View is protecting wildlife by incorporating a variety of nature-friendly homes through the development.
Throughout construction, a lengthy network of hedgehog highways are being created to stretch over 1,330 metres around the development to facilitate hibernation and reproduction for local wildlife.
Alongside this, over 260 trees are being planted to safeguard the existing plants and trees around the vast amount of open space at Languard View.
The popular development is continuing the housing developer’s vision of eco-friendly living by reserving five acres of open green space for residents and wildlife to enjoy. The Languard View community can also enjoy the informal sports pitch, dog exercise area and
children’s play area available at the development.
To complete Languard View, Barratt and David Wilson Homes is planting four wildflower meadows to support native pollinators such as, bees, butterflies, and moths.
