28 Oct Home Secretary Priti Patel tops 2019’s Essex Power 100 list
Home Secretary Priti Patel has topped this year’s Essex Power 100 list. Ms Patel who was appointed Secretary of State for the Home Department in July this year has been the Conservative MP for Witham since May 2010.
Now in its 3rd year, The Essex Power 100 list celebrates the achievements of the 100 most influential people in and from Essex.
This year’s list saw over twenty new names introduced with Essex star’s Rylan Clarke-Neal, Louisa Johnson, local councillors Holly Whitbread and Jaymey McIvor all getting the nod.
Essex Power 100 President, Nicholas Taylor told us “As I enter the 3rd term of my presidency, I have enjoyed watching the role Essex Power 100 plays in identifying individuals who have made a difference across Essex, whether in politics, business, entertainment, music, sports or charity.”
