02 Jul Herts & Essex Community Farm announce their fifth annual Farm Fest
On Saturday 11th August Herts & Essex Community Farm will be hosting their fifth annual Farm Fest at the Fold Croft site. The festival is free to enter and is aimed at bringing the local community together, with fun for all ages.
Local musicians including Harlow Rock School, Charlotte Howell and the Little Women and the Valaitis brothers will be performing on the stage, whilst over in the peaceful willow classroom guests can enjoy jewellery making and other workshops.
There will be a BBQ with locally sourced meat and vegetarian options available, whilst the farm kitchen will serve up a range of vegan food including curry and chilli using as much farm produce as possible. The Farm Shop will have a range of fruits & vegetables all grown at the farm as well as a range of jams, oils, teas, herbs and beauty products.
Herts & Essex Community Farm is a not-for-profit organisation aiming to promote educational, social, environmental and health benefits to the local community. The project holds regular volunteer days which are open to all and all volunteers are welcome to go home with a share of the produce which is all organically grown.
