#Chelmsford: Helen Rollason Cancer Charity Hosts Christmas Gift and Food Fair

11 Nov #Chelmsford: Helen Rollason Cancer Charity Hosts Christmas Gift and Food Fair

It’s that time of year again! The HRCC Christmas Gift and Food Fair – raising money on behalf of Helen Rollason Cancer Charity – is being held at the new location of Chelmsford City Racecourse on the 26 -27 November 2016.

The Fair is one of the region’s biggest and best Christmas shopping events with over 80 independent retailers, who combined, will stock a variety of items including gifts, homeware, jewellery, art, books, toys and much more. Amongst the exhibitors will be lots of well-known brands, including Neal’s Yard Remedies, Phoenix Trading and Le Creuset to name a few.

Alongside the shopping stands, there will be a range of popular food trucks and stalls, including The Giggly Pig Company, Mena’s Indian Banquet and Cheese & Pie Man, selling gastronomic treats to keep the foodies happy. Plus, for the younger member of the family, there will be the opportunity to have their photo taken in our magical pop-up winter wonderland.

Throughout the weekend, visitors will be able to enjoy live entertainment in the Grand Stand with festive performances by the Braintree Male Voice Choir, The D’Ukes, The Chelmsford Silver Band and Abigail’s Performing Arts.

Kate Alden, Helen Rollason Cancer Charity Fundraising Manager says: “We are all getting so excited for this year’s Christmas Gift and Food Fair as it is set to be the biggest and best one yet. We’ve managed to round together some wonderful gift traders, which combined with the array of fantastic food sellers and live entertainment makes for a great day out for all the family. The fair is being held at the new, prestigious venue of Chelmsford City Racecourse to meet the growing popularity of the event.”
